We took our search for the 13th edition of WINE OF THE YEAR all the way back to a classic and recognized wine origin: SOUTHERN FRANCE. Each year, METRO’s wine experts search worldwide for a partner with whom to make the WINE OF THE YEAR. After finding a wine producer that exudes excellence, tasting hundreds of wines before making their selection, METRO chooses its partner. Together they create an unique packaging and concept blend for the WINE OF THE YEAR.

The WINE OF THE YEAR is exclusively made available to METRO customers.

 BRUME SALINE – I.G.P.PAYS D’OC RED

This red wine is made of three unique grapes, all with their own identities. The Grenache, the Syrah, the Mourvèdre combining floral aromas with spices and intense colours.

JUST SAY ENTRECÔTE

The soft tannins and white pepper notes of this red wine create a perfect harmony with the taste of game. To matured cuts of beef or bitter-sweet notes like figs this wine creates a foundation these tastes can build upon.

BRUME SALINE – I.G.P. PAYS D’OC WHITE

The wines from Chardonnay are large, mineral and elegant wines with fine, fresh and fruity aromas.  And this one even adds a touch of Viognier.
